  • Title l - Title l of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act, provides financial assistance to local educational agencies (LEAs) and schools with high numbers or high percentages of children from low-income families to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic standards.  Federal funds are currently allocated through statutory formulas that are based primarily on census poverty estimates and the cost of education in each state.  Currently the Reed-Custer CUSD operates a Title l Schoolwide Program.
  • Transitional Program of Instruction - The Transitional Program of Instruction (TPI) is a mandated program to serve students from low-incidence language backgrounds.  The program provides support to help students succeed in academic subjects while also mastering the English language.  Students remain in a general education classroom setting while simultaneously receiving scaffolded instruction focused on language development.  The Reed-Custer CUSD operates a TPI for qualifying students in pre-k through twelfth grade.
  • Safe School Ambassadors - The Safe School Ambassadors Program (SSA) is an evidence-based program that harnesses the power of students to prevent and stop bullying and mistreatment.  It is considered a social-emotional learning program and is a student-centered model that educates diverse social leaders with the skills to prevent and reduce bullying.  At this time, Reed-Custer students in grades 2-12 participates in the SSA program.
